Dear Customer
I hope you're doing well! We're excited to ensure that your portrait experience is absolutely fantastic and that you're fully prepared for it.
To help you out, we'd like to share our top 10 tips that will not only make your portrait shoot more enjoyable but also give it a unique touch.
The tips we're about to share are not rigid rules, but they will assist us in creating personalized images that truly bring your walls to life.
1. We recommend bringing three different outfits for your portraits. During the shoot, we'll be using three different background setups to ensure we create something that perfectly suits your walls. If you're unsure about which three outfits to bring, here are some suggestions:
a. Casual
b. Smart Casual
c. Smart
d. Loungewear
e. Sporty
f. Eveningwear
2. When it comes to creating a cohesive look for your images, I find that having a running theme with the clothes you choose works best. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant; it can be as simple as everyone wearing a form of denim or opting for black outfits (which are perfect for black and white photos). You could even decide to wear matching woolly hats! Just think about how you'd like the final images to look on your walls.
3. If you want to add a truly unique touch to your images, consider bringing along items that represent you, your family, or your individual interests. We may not use them for the entire shoot, but they can help create some interesting and memorable photos. Here are some ideas:
a. Musical Instruments
b. Sports Outfit
c. Ballet/Dance Outfit
d. Football, Rugby Ball, Tennis Racket, Cricket Bat, etc.
e. Comics, Game Controller
f. Favorite cuddly toy
4. If you have a younger child (toddler), it's helpful to schedule the shoot at a time when they've either had a nap or been fed. This can greatly contribute to a smoother experience.
5. When it comes to toys, it's best to avoid introducing any that you don't want to appear in the pictures, especially with younger children. It can be difficult to take toys away from them, potentially leading to them becoming upset during the shoot.
6. Likewise, we recommend keeping food out of the portrait session. We understand that children may want to finish their snacks before continuing, but having images with mouths full of food might not be the desired outcome.
7. If you have any pose ideas or if you've seen something online that you like, please feel free to screenshot it and send it to us before the shoot. We'll do our best to capture something similar for you.
8. If you feel you might benefit from additional support during the shoot, such as having grandparents or other relatives present, please feel free to bring them along. Who knows, they might even join in on the fun!
9. Don't forget to bring your diary! At the end of the portrait experience, we'll need to schedule your ordering appointment. During this session, you'll get to see all the edited images and have the opportunity to create your final portraits.
10. To ensure you arrive at the right place, our studio is located inside Emporium M33 in Sale, specifically on Tatton Road across from the town hall. Once inside, you'll find us on the top floor, there is a set of stairs slightly tucked away behind Cooper Sports on the 1st floor that will lead you up to us. Please allow yourself enough time to navigate from the car park to the studio.
I hope these tips help you prepare for your upcoming family portrait experience. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via phone, text, WhatsApp, or email. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
We're really looking forward to seeing what you bring!
Take care and see you soon.
